Please do either keep the .deb or think about flatpak (which is already included in Linux Mint). I'd not like to be forced to install snap besides the preinstalled flatpak just to use XnViewMP...

Re: 0.84: „Special Effects” with Full Screen Mode on two monitors
XnView MP Version 0.92 under Linux does behave like described here
* F11 while in browser tab enables/disables the fullscreen on the second monitor
* F11 while in image tab enables/disables the fullscreen on the first monitor (no matter if the second monitor is in fullscreen or not)
That's easy ...

There is no linux version of 0.91 available yet so I can't test. You do not need to build one for me since I would prefer not to install beta versions on my system.

Re: User right management
If you don't follow my suggestion to simply use network folder permissions but rely on XnViewMP features - who do you think your admin can assure that all users use only XnViewMP? A log in XnViewMP is of no use if users can just use another application to edit the tags. There are many other programs ...

@Hajo,
I assume all those pictures reside on some kind of network drive and would be accessed from multiple clients eventually at the same time? Probably this will rise additional questions regarding cached metadata, thumbnails and so on...

Re: Add column Total Pixels
You can do that already as I explained here:
Extra hint: No need to add a column to the details grid only to click on it - Just use the "sort by" icon, sort by "image size" and you get exactly what you asked for...

You should be able to do that with batch convert > actions > add action > resize > mode = longest side, enlarge/reduce = reduce only.Octopuss wrote: Mon Apr 30, 2018 1:54 pm I would like to be able to specify the size below which an image will be skipped.

"Explorer" -> "File manager" ?
Right click in browser tab opens a context menu. The last entry reads "Explorer". Clicking on it opens the folder with Nemo (default file manager in Linux Mint). I think file manager is the better name, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_manager

Re: Remember crop aspect ratio (via crop icon/toolbar)
+1
I'd also like to have the crop mode (via icon) start with a more useful value. Most of the time I don't want "free" crop. So it should either remember the last used value or be configurable in the settings. The "edit > set selection ratio" is no help here since I have to set it again for each ...

Re: 0.84: „Special Effects” with Full Screen Mode on two monitors
I can confirm that V0.90 still behaves as described in posting #1.
I did not notice that before and at first I was not sure what I should expect in this case. It can be useful to have these two independent fullscreens. It is a little complicated to activate this mode (which suggests that it might ...
