Can't reproduce either now. I'm on Arch Linux, no idea why it did not work a few months back. Everything's working fine now.

Other factors like 2, 4, 16, 32 should ideally be supported too.

With scaling methods Hermite, Gaussian, Bell, BSpline, Mitchell, Lanczos and Hanning the alpha channel gets removed when resizing an image.
Only Nearest Neighbor and Bilinear work as expected and preserve the alpha channel.

Browsers support AVIF, XnView MP should too.

+1 for MozJPEG Guetzli is good at compression, but takes literally forever to encode with, neither supports progressive encoding nor color profiles. I really like the export option of XnView MP, but I hate that I can't click anything while my picture is encoded. For small pictures, this is not a problem, as encoding is really quick, but when you want to export an immensely big picture this can take up to many minutes depending on the settings. E...

I want to use it for making a specific color transparent.

Would like to see BPG support in XnConvert.

It would be nice if you could add the option to change the encoder in JPEG settings.

I am still waiting for FLIF implementation in XnView MP!
I had to install the classic XnView just to be able to look at FLIF files.

Saving pictures with a transparent color is not possible with XnView at the moment, so I have to use IrfanView for this.
Please add transparent color options to the save and export screen for supported formats.
