Yes, only on JPEGs. Understand that IPTC are only written to jpg file. No XMP!

Xnview Slow to write IPTC data
Greetings,
I've been using XnView MP Version 0.89 64bits (Jan 15 2018) on Linux Mint 8.2., Mate 64-bit, with 6 GB of RAM on an i3 Intel processor.
And while I've have been very happy with the software and its features, the only issues that I have is the speed of writing IPTC data to image(s).
