Is this something to do with the Catalog option?

I'm new to XnView, so be gentle.

Everytime I open a folder XnView refreshes all the thumbnails.

Can I make it so it only adds new images? It's a pain having to wait for it to update hundreds of images everytime I go back into a folder.
