I meant the overlaid information when viewing an image. The attachments show the same image viewed in V0.95 and V0.96.

I'm using the x64 version in Windows 10.

I wasn't aware of GeoSetter. My ideas were based on Zoner Photo Studio, as mentioned in my first post.

All of the features shown in my example above (except the Copy and Paste buttons) are already in XnView MP in other contexts. But I'd like to see them ...

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question. Where is the menu that you're referring to?

When reached from Viewer, it seems unchanged: there is an 'Apply' button, and the file isn't saved. This doesn't bother me, as I seldom use the Viewer. Perhaps users of the Viewer ...

In edit mode, IPTC is applied to metadata of image, not file. You need to save it

I use the default xnviewmp keyboard settings and for me it works fine! I can use the left/right cursor to switch from picture to picture in fullscreen mode. My PC works with Windows 10 64bit, too.

Try to reset the settings to default.

When Edit IPTC-IIM/XMP is accessed from Viewer or Fullscreen (via Ctrl+I) and a caption is entered, it isn't saved. (Windows 10.)

Effect: Caption can't be saved from Viewer and Fullscreen modes.

1. In the Viewer or Fullscreen, press Ctrl+I. An Edit IPTC-IIM/XMP dialog is displayed.

I have left/right arrows set for previous/next file. If Fullscreen mode is accessed from the Browser, these keys don't work.The standard PgUp/PgDn keys do work. Also, if Fullscreen mode is accessed from the Viewer, the arrow keys work as expected. (Windows 10, 64-bit.)
