OS Ubuntu-MATE 20.04

Today I downloaded the appimage of XnView MP, and I saw commas separating group of 3 digits for the Kib (I don't recall having seen it, because my settings were to see only the image name before I added this field)

I read "soon" for Linux, is it possible to have a ~date like a month? Also will it be a .deb binary or appimage (or both)?

I saw on the gihub link you provided some one did put "-ImageEditor (filename)" instead of "-ImageEditor %1" did you tried it to open multiple images?

May be something to do with the exif of your phone (brand-model?)

or the setting in XnView (here are mine, everything is fine for me)

Yup! Agree. What I didn't try is simply changing the extension from ori to the regular orf. If that worked then it would be the case that the file is (largely) the same and that it is only the extension that is not recognised. May try that when I'm back on the photo laptop.

Did you tried to see what's the exact command in your Microsoft Windows main menu (the main app launcher in the Windows OS something like Start button then Programs/...) with a right click on the name of the application (here ShareX) then "properties" or with a menu editor?

last suggestion, did you try: -ImageEditor "%1" (with double quotes " ", In a different forum I saw many Windows users are using " " in parameter, I'm not a Windows user though, so I don't know) or call directly the app by its file name the same way: ShareX.exe "%1" (with or without the - )

Same here (Ubuntu 20.04 + latest XnView MP)

It appears that
ART opens it like a charm (ART is a fork of Rawtherapee) and sure Rawtherapee does it
Photivo opens it as well
Darktable also
Lightzone cannot...

But my Desktop recognize it (MATE Desktop) :D

it should work with multiple selected images, it works like a charm for me (Ok, I'm on Linux but you can try it with a test directory)

Hello just to let you know that G'MIC was ported to Photoshop as a 8bf plug'in, de facto it should be compatible with XnView, no it has already been tested with XnView

The 64-bit plugin has been tested in Adobe Photoshop CC 2020.
The 32-bit plugin has been tested in XnView.
It should also work ...
