Re: Batch convert 16Bit TIF to 16Bit JPG2000 not working? (only 8bit created))

Is there a chance to get it implemented? Batch converting 16Bit files to JPG2000 could be so useful to keep 16Bit images small.

Re: Wish: Exclude directory from "show all files (recursive)"

Or or and an option that mass images are not shown. Mass images could be recognized as images which was saved within a few seconds by automatic processes like done during creation of animations or pano tours (thousands of small tiles are created by pano software).

Wish: Exclude directory from "show all files (recursive)"

Hi, if I look look through all project directories per "show all files (recursive)" than I have the problem, that sub directories with thousands of animation frames are shown too. I miss an option for this kind of directories to be not scanned. Please add an option to the RMB menu of directories lik...

Exclude folders for "Show all files (recursive)"

Hi, I have some directories which contain virtual tours with thousands of image tiles. I would like to exclude them from "Show all files (recursive)". Best it would be if I could click on a folder per RMB and choose "exclude from search". Could it be possible to add this functionality? Or is it stil...

How to avoid thumbnail refreshing? Or wish: advanced caching. (DNG)

Hi, I have a directory where the DNG files of my panorama camera are saved. The files sizes are around 700MB or higher. If I come back to this directory and there are new files added to this directory, than the whole directory is scanned again and all previous created thumbnails are gone. The refres...

0.96.2 - Catalog - ... - Abort - Crash

Hi,

I tried to add some paths and tried to get the thumbnails cache later created. So I pressed "added folder" and during "building catalog entries" was started and running I pressed the "Abort" button. This cause a XnViewMP crash.

How to avoid the jumping preview?

Hi, my computer crashed and I need to use my old machine again. I installed the latest XnView MP and now I have the effect, if a new image is saved to the current directory, than the thumbnail preview jumps down to the end. In the past I haven't seen this effect. Is there an option which I have over...

Re: No automatic update of fresh saved images at the thumbnails

... and if I save the rendering as PNG than all saved channels are not shown at 8000x4000. Could it be that it depends on the file size?

Re: No automatic update of fresh saved images at the thumbnails

Hi Pierre, unfortunately it's not full working. Today I installed the latest full release but some files are still missing at the browser. Here an example - V-Ray saves multiple channels from a rendering, but the main passes aren't shown which should be image 163.jpg and 162.jpg like 161.jpg (this w...

Re: No automatic update of fresh saved images at the thumbnails

It doesn't depends on the images, it depends on how it is stored to the directory. I found a way to repeat it. * open two XnView MP tasks at different directories - task A and task B * at task A open the attached jpg image and use the "save as" menu function and save the image as PNG to the director...

Re: No automatic update of fresh saved images at the thumbnails

For example the standard "image" filter mode. If I save per latest V-Ray or Oloneo Photoengine than the thumbnails are not updated, if I save per Photoshop CS4 or Affinity Photo than the new saved file are shown at the thumbnails. I don't know why the output of some programs is ignored. Also some ti...

Re: No automatic update of fresh saved images at the thumbnails

I installed the latest beta yesterday and the problem still persist. I have a directory with thumbnails, but if I save a new file to this directory, than the new image isn't shown. I need to switch to an other directory and back to get the thumbnails updated. At XnView classic it was never an issue....
