Why are scrolling keys different in image and browser view?
In the browser view, page up and page down operate normally and scroll up and down the thumbnails.

Note to XnView Opera Users
Opera has released version 9.50 with a significant change that royally screws some XnView users.
Many XnView users select images from the Opera cache, copy them to a new directory, and then look at the directory thumbnails with XnView to see if there are any they need to review again or possibly ...

Users Could Have Bad category.db file without realizing it
I have had slow startups for a long time. I always have upgraded soon after each release.
I have used xnview for a while and went through several upgrades.
The problem had gotten worse and worse gradually over time.
I had assumed my 200MB cache file was behind it.

What is story with multi-page .tif documents?
I have noticed strange things with multi-page tiff documents.
In another thread, I noted that if I set up a color palette on one page, the palette went away when I moved to another page.

Any way to get a color palette with 2 color TIF document?
With a gif image, I can use image, colormap to get a palette with which I can change the colors in an image. This works the same in Irfan view as image, palette, edit palette.

Loading Time Significantly Reduced with 1 91 1
I downloaded the zip package for 1 91 1.
I have never felt I understood the difference between the zip and exe package but decided to use the zip package this time.
I looked in control panel add/remove programs and saw that I had 1 91 installed.
I uninstalled it. The uninstall appeared to work ...
