Sometimes I export photos in Webp format, this often divides their size by 5 or 10.
Say goodbye to webp and aim for more compatibility - jpeg via the jpegli encoder. It's impressive. Example: I created picture with webp at -60 for my 4K HDTV in the native resolution. Now I replaced them by jpegli ...

In the thumbnails view, one day I set the filter to Videos only.

What if I forget that?

Then, e.g. if you double click a picture in explorer, with a Fullscreen start, it will not display the picture, but a black screen ...

Absolutely - and please have a look at the Windows terminology in your (french?) Windows 10 - I think they just use very easy to understand words.

Yes, but this does not "fill" screen in case the width is much bigger than height. Example. Picture: 2000x500. "Fit image to windows width" will leave borders on top and bottom.

Currently we have no automatic detection, that's the point.

Let's say I have those hypothetical numbers:

Screen: 1500x1000
Picture: 2000x2000

What I want is to fit the picture into screen with no black borders. So ideally horizontally it presses the picture into the 1500px width and crops parts at top and bottom.

It happened also with 1.4.1, after double clicking a jpeg.

I'm interested in testing as well. It's a really annoying issue. Happens like every 2nd try. Typical situation: 1. Click XNview shortcut or jpg 2. Nothing happens 3. Kill in Task Manager 4. Retry 5. Usually starts then.
