yes, in the instance of videos and the settings described in my other topic, the videos still play and are loaded. No exclusion happens.

One has to have both View => "Play movie" and Browser => Preview=> "Autoplay Video/Audio" Unchecked to skip all videos when looking through photos in a mixed media folder.
