Re: 1.8.3: xnview asks if save file after the file deleted
This is really very annoying behavior of the program, it appeared about two or three versions ago. Usually I open the folder with screenshots and just delete unnecessary ones while viewing, and when I close the program it starts asking me whether I need to save changes in the deleted file. And if I ...

Re: Alpha in thumbnails
please try to change in your xnview.ini useAlpha=false in Load section
Is there some kind of command/button to enable/disable this option on the fly? For example, I have a bunch of textures with transparency and their previews are displayed 90% as just a black square. But I don’t always need to ...

vtex format support (Source Engine 2)
The program already has support for the VTF texture format from Source Enigne 1. I would also like to see support for Source 2 - VTEX.

For me, the Catalog is a completely useless feature. That is, the program does not have the ability to hide some specific folders?xnview wrote: Sun Feb 12, 2023 2:54 pm Excluded/Included is not for that, only to exclude/include folder to import in catalog

[1.4.2 x64] Excluded / Included folders don't work.
I wanted to hide the system folders, such as the recycle bin on each of the drives, but adding these folders does not lead to anything. Even if you specify a regular folder that is not hidden and not system - it also continues to be displayed. Enabling/disabling the display of hidden folders does ...

Re: 0.98: Can't be internal viewer for Total Commander
Updated to version 1.4.2 64bit . Yes, now one version of the program can work as a plug-in and as a simple program at the same time.
BUT - there was a bug, and specifically a bug with the VTF format. If there are about 20-30 such textures in a folder, then all firsts are generated without ...

Re: 0.98: Can't be internal viewer for Total Commander
Yes, if disabled it works. But, accordingly, the program itself will open as a copy for each next picture.
ok i'll fix the problem. But you have only one instance for TC not many, right?
to be honest, I didn’t understand the question (language barrier), in general, it would not hurt to make ...

Yes TC start another instance of XnView. Is it working with 'only one instance' disabled?

no disable 'only one instance'?

It looks like another copy of the program is launched to work as a plugin, this happens with XnViewClassic, I just didn’t notice it, because. I only use it as a plugin. Too bad it works that way, I don't like multiple copies of the ...

Yes, I use the setting of only one instance, I don’t like it when several copies are opened, and then one of them overwrites all changes in the ini.xnview wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 9:29 am Strange, all work correctly event if XnView MP is started before TC. Re: 0.98: Can't be internal viewer for Total Commander
It works very strangely. Generates literally 10-15 previews, and then just stays in the background and loads the processor by 8%. I'd rather use XnView Classic, it's at least stable. :?
Strange, on which format?
Xnviewmp completely ceases to function as a TC plugin when the program itself is ...
