I had a similar problem on RaspberryPi with QT libraries not being detected. I "think" i had to run sudo ldconfig after installing them , but it was a few weeks back so can't remember exactly.. All working fine for me now.

Can You, please, describe exactly how to fix the problem starting XnView ...

what do you have as libraries /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libQt*?

"ls libQt*" in /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/ returns this:
libQt5CLucene.so.5 libQt5QuickTest.so.5.5
libQt5CLucene.so.5.5 libQt5QuickTest.so.5.5.1
libQt5CLucene.so.5.5.1 libQt5QuickWidgets.prl
libQt5Concurrent.prl ...

I tried to install all missed libraries separately, but the system informs me that libraties are already installed.

May be, the problem is with linking to the QT5 library in /opt/XnView/xnview.sh?

Hi! I've made it with:

sudo apt-get install qtcreator
sudo apt-get install qt5-default
Also with no result.

Found error:
/opt/XnView/XnView: error while loading shared libraries: libQt5Svg.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Hi! "sudo xnview" also without result. Also no reaction from click in the menu "Graphic->XnView Multi Platform".

when you start xnview from a terminal command, what do you have?

Tried to start from terminal with "sudo xnviewmp", "sudo xnview", "sudo xnviewmp-linux".
The ansver is "no such command ...

I use XnView on Windows PC's with great pleasure very long time!
Just tried to install XnViewMP on ARM-based Armbian (Debian) powered devboard OrangePi +2. This is the only thing I missed on OrangePi.
