Re: Where / how can I switch off the navigator window in fullscreen?

Many thanks for the ini code and screenshot. So to use the ini file to dis/enable an option might be easier, at least if one knew the code part to search for in the file.

At some point that window finally was gone, I actually do not what that was caused by. In the new version it also is away.

Re: How can one move images from one instance of XnView to another one by drag & drop?

Yes, at the moment I would think those results must be caused by XnView. Or I do mistakes often or all the time.

Re: How can one move images from one instance of XnView to another one by drag & drop?

Actually I would not think the mouse is out of order, normally (in all of the other programs) it seems to work. The other mice were quite primitive, cheap ones, so they really were defect. I tested them a few times before throwing them away. Yes, the USB sockets, I tested them too. I tried the mice ...

Re: How can one move images from one instance of XnView to another one by drag & drop?

When moving a large number of files, yes, drag and drop could be quicker if you accept the possible risk... The risk of sliding off of the mouse button with trembling fingers and drop the files somewhere... But you really need a reliable mouse, that is possibly your main problem! Yes yes, I ...

Re: How can one move images from one instance of XnView to another one by drag & drop?

Yes, two instances or, of course even more, are the best way (for me) to copy / move files / folders. Personally, although drag and drop is a standard way of working, I never normally use it as I am concerned about the risk of messing up if my finger slips during a transfer. I normally use cut and p...

Re: How can one move images from one instance of XnView to another one by drag & drop?

I think we both mean the same but are expressing it differently? Yes. yes, that might be true, of course. I don't know if what you wish to do is possible, have you tried the obvious ways of testing and found that none of the ways you have tried work? Yes, of course, that is why I know it does not s...

Re: How can one move images from one instance of XnView to another one by drag & drop?

As the browsers of the two instances would overall be displaying the same file tree Sorry, I do not understand. Why the same file tree? What sense would that make? you wish in effect to use the two instances to more easily move files within the browser? Sorry, no, why do you think so? I want to mov...

Re: Zooming in and out smoothly by little steps (1 %, 2 %, 3 %, etc.) in fullscreen mode by wheeling the mouse wheel?

Difficult then, I would test the mouse wheel in other applications, and if necessary try to obtain another mouse. I use the wheel all the time, so actuaily I cannot imagine it does not work properly. In the View menu you have zoom options using keyboard + and - which might be worth testing, and as ...

Re: Zooming in and out smoothly by little steps (1 %, 2 %, 3 %, etc.) in fullscreen mode by wheeling the mouse wheel?

You're sure your mouse wheel is working correctly and doesn't, maybe, have an intermittent fault? No, I am not, but until now I could not find any problems with it. Do you have another mouse? Unfortunately I do not, it is the only working mouse here. But it is the same with the touchpad. May be the...

Yes yes, but I cannot see any effect on this...ah, now I have an effect with this:
Ah no, now it is gone again. No effect anymore. The same like it was before.
