Re: Color Separatoin | High Contrast B&W

Thanks for you comments. First is this what you mean by "MP implementation" ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenMP? I see a tag in the footer with those initials: same concept or another? After I posted this last night I found some articles for using histograms. I sort of got the idea. I took a quic...

Re: Color Separatoin | High Contrast B&W

Sorry for the long delay in responding. Thank you for your thoughts. I am a bit confused how you moved from my dark image to your nicely bright one. Did you use Levels exclusively? Image>Adjust>Levels? I see Five options on that page. Which one do I use and which way do I move them to get to the cor...

Ultimately I will want to rotate such images in a batch mode. I am seeking something like a eye dropper (like in Gimp I th...

Re: Rotate TIFF : Export Exif Data : Import RAW

Thanks for your replies. The Books Scanner looks to be clever and interesting. I managed to open the tiff file and rotate it from the menu. Yes I was referring to what you call "EXIF" data. I was right clicking on my image then going to the bottom of that menu to "Properties" i also tried >Edit> Pro...

Rotate TIFF : Export Exif Data : Import RAW

Brand new. Not much experience with sophisticated digital photography yet. What I am trying to do it archive 8.5 x 11 documents, some typed with most handwritten on school notebook paper. The lot is somewhere upwards of 5,000 pages. Some go way back and are very faded. They will need photo restorati...
