Re: xnviewmp batch converter - file deletion issue

sorry, don't exactly remember.

i know there was some sort of message box: multicore only avaiable with 'überschreiben - keine rückfrage / overwrite - no feedback'

but this option is already enabled, as you can see.

Re: xnviewmp batch converter - file deletion issue

i found this old thread dealing with similar problems.

viewtopic.php?t=30588

playing around with Settings>General>File operations recylce options as a workaround was not much of a help though.

Re: xnviewmp batch converter - file deletion issue

it is the same with xnconvert for linux, so i believe it is originally a bug within this software.

Re: xnviewmp batch converter - file deletion issue

for testing purposes, i ran xnview portable (via wine).

file deletion is fine with the batch-converter on this end. perhaps a bug in xnviewmp?

xnviewmp batch converter - file deletion issue

upon test-batch converting pngs to webp with xnviewmp 0.94.1 (linux), i made sure to tick option "delete original", but for some unknown reason, the png files are still to be found in their respective locations.

png to webp

i plan to convert my (local) pngs to webp (lossless)*. is there anything speaking against the webp format as of december 2019 (possible limitations?) the reason for doing so, is a reduction in filesize and faster loading times. compatibility is not an issue. *i am open towards other recommendations ...

Re: linux flif format support

the aur package fetches its files directly from http://download.xnview.com/XnViewMP-linux-x64.tgz while looking at the installed files, there is no flif-plugin included, so i guess this is indeed an extra install? but shouldn't flif be part of xnviewmp 0.84 already? the only optional dependency list...

linux flif format support

hi there, i would like to give https://flif.info/ format a try, but opening files will not work. xnviewmp from the aur (arch linux) is installed, see pkgbuild https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=xnviewmp i have checked the format options, a flif entry is missing, though. what else...
