I assume not many cameras / phones store GPS direction data, most i've seen Latitude and Longitude, what tags are used for direction can you upload a sample picture here?


I guess these are the relevant EXIF tags:

It would be great if XnView MP would show the GPS image direction in the map under Image > Properties > GPS. Currently, only a pin is shown, but not the direction.

It would be great XnView MP would support it. AVIF seems to be a useful format, it has better compression ratio than WEBP. GraphicConverter 12 on Mac does support it. So there's no general reason why it can't be done on Mac.

Whenever I try to save an image in AVIF format, I get the error shown in the last screenshot below. XnView MP will create a file with the extension .avif having 0 bytes. The format of the original image doesn't matter. The file name doesn't matter ...
