The JPG format does not support transparency, so it will place a white background in its place at the time of saving.
If you need to maintain transparency after removing the background, you will need to save in a format that supports transparency, such as PNG or TIF.

i reproduce when using 'bicubic'
Yes I did not see it before, but only "none" and "bilinear" works good on both zoom in and zoom out.
If I set any zoom to:
Bicubic
spline 16
spline 36
lanczos 3
lanczoz 4
the gamma correction is lost on both zoom in and zoom out when different from 100%

If I have Xnview MP opened but minimized, and I make double click on an image in windows explorer, the images is opened in Xnview MP, but is still minimized, I need to click on the button on taskbar to maximize it an see the recently opened image.

The current image opened in the viewer loses the “Use gamma correction” (enabled in preferences) when zoomed beyond 100%, and the “High zoom quality” option is enabled.
Does not occur if “High Zoom Quality” is disabled, and if zoom is 100% or less ...

After update to version 1.0 the title bar size info "{Size}" always show "0 Bytes".
Same behavior for: {Size B}, {Size KB}
The size info works correctly on Full screen.
Effect: Wrong size info in title bar, always shown as "0 Bytes" on ...
