Use of -levels2 options

In the new version 7.70 of nconvert, the command "-levels2" has appeared, please help us understand the parameters of this command. The logic of these 5 parameters is not quite clear. Describe them in more detail and preferably with examples.

Re: Processing of multi-page TIFF files.

OK, I'll try to do this via the FOR command in CMD. Thanks for the idea.

Re: Processing of multi-page TIFF files.

Now I checked it on an array of multi-page tif files. And it turned out that the proposed set of commands works only on a single multi-page file. When you try to process an array of multiple multi-page files, the result is combined into a single file. Here is my example (for totalcommander) -rmeta -...

Re: Processing of multi-page TIFF files.

Thank you, everything worked fine! :) Now I have dealt with this issue. My mistake was putting the "-multi" command before the "-out tiff" command.

Re: Processing of multi-page TIFF files.

There are a number of tasks, such as resaving the tif with a different type of compression or deleting metadata. At the moment, I first split a multi-page file, then process it page by page, and then assemble it into a multi-page file. Is it possible to do this without pagination. If yes, please wri...

Processing of multi-page TIFF files.

Good day to all!
Please tell me if it is possible to use the converter utility to process and save a multi-page TIF file without having to parse it page by page? Any attempt I make to process a multi-page TIFF results in a single-page TIFF, and only pagination produces the result. :?

Add a detail parameter to the -binary floyd command

I want to contact the developer with a request. :!: At the moment, one of the binarization commands ( -binary floyd ) does not have a detail parameter (more precisely, the parameter is set by default to about 50-60%). :( The Floyd Steinberg binarization method allows you to use the detail parameter ...

Re: What to use instead of levels and curves

Yes, there are only 2 parameters now - the white point (W) and the black point(B). However, if the middle tone parameter is added to developers, it will simplify batch processing of similar scans. For example: "- autolevels -levels 000 165 255"

Re: What to use instead of levels and curves

It's complicated. I think it will be easier to add the "-levels" parameter medium tone (shadow) to the command. For example:- levels 15 145 210, where 15 is the black point (B), 145 is the mid - tone point (shadow), and 210 is the white point (W).

How to change the mid-tone parameter in a gray image (TIF)

Hi!
Task: Change the mid-tone parameter in a gray image without changing the parameters of light and dark tones.
Is there such a possibility in nconvert using its commands :?: , if not, is it possible to add a parameter to the "-levels " command?

Automatic alignment of scanned text documents

A big request to the developers of nconvert add command for automatic alignment of scanned pages of text documents.
This command is not enough for batch processing of documents (in tiff format). I think this command will be very popular with nconvert users.
