The options 'Preserve Metadata' and 'Preserve color profile' are not selected.
The fact is that you can disable the EXIF and XMP for instance for jpg format (settings) but not for webp.
Interesting:
After converting images to jpg first (100% quality) and deselecting EXIF, IPTC, XMP, ICC ...

I'm using XnView MP batch convert to create low-size webp thumbnails for the web.
Been using 0.93.1 and tested the 0.94 beta 2 with the same results.
