Updated XnViewMP and also installed the newer GS 9.50.
It works!

pdf works now.

I have first installed ghostscript with homebrew, but this way of installation was new to me, and it did not work with XnViewMP (also restarted), so I installed the package from https://pages.uoregon.edu/koch/ over it.

pdf-Error: File can't be loaded!
Hi,
I am running XnViewMP 0.94.1 on OSX Mojave 10.14.6.
ghostscript 9.50 is installed.
When I click on a pdf-file the error 'File can't be loaded!' pops up - no pdf-file shown. Also preview is empty.
ps-Files work fine.
What's my problem?
It would be great if anybody could help me.
