1.5.0 - Windows focus loss on batch convert deletion [Solved]

XnView: MP 1.5.0 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 64bit

When doing a Batch convert task with "delete original file" on, for every file deletion, Windows defocuses currently focused window, making typing anything in any window impossible until the Batch convert task is done.

Effect: Windows window focus is ...

Re: Option to turn off two-pass rendering

Tested the feature out, Settings->View->Misc.->Two-pass rendering at loading seems to work identical to manually changing prevSize in the .ini file, meaning all works well, thank you!

However, I think the wording of an option is a little bit vague. If you can add help text on hover, something like ...

Re: Option to turn off two-pass rendering

you can edit previewSize in [Viewer] section of xnview.ini previewSize=@Size(0 0)

This is excellent, just what I wanted. Thank you for reaching out to me via e-mail to tell me about this. Is adding this to the GUI settings an option at this time? Editing the .ini solved it for me, but there ...

Re: Opening a preview for the video file in explore mode leaves the audio stream open until you close XnviewMP

Ah, okay then. If there's nothing in that library's functions about audio streams, then we're probably out of luck, unless you want to completely shut it down every time you deselect a video file.

I wonder if putting in a timer of, say, 15 or 30 minutes after you last used a video preview and ...

Re: Opening a preview for the video file in explore mode leaves the audio stream open until you close XnviewMP

Changing it to false doesn't change the behaviour. The audio stream is still shown as open in either situation.

Re: Opening a preview for the video file in explore mode leaves the audio stream open until you close XnviewMP

Yeah, just tested it again with different files and got the same result. Here's a video of me testing it: https://streamable.com/enpsk4

Does your powercfg -requests show an audio stream in use while the video is playing and stops showing it if you do the command after?

Can this be related to ...

Opening a preview for the video file in explore mode leaves the audio stream open until you close XnviewMP

Version: 0.97.1, win 10 64 version 2004

Steps to reproduce:

- Start Xnview
- Navigate to a folder with a video and an image in explore mode
- Click on a video
- Click on an image
- Audio stream is now open until you close XnviewMP

Why is this important?

When audio stream is open, Windows ...

Re: Zoom options race condition when scrolling through images of different types

A related bug, but with a Browser view here's what happens when you do the exact same thing:

It is a bit weird because you don't see/hear my scroll wheel, but at the end there, I basically spam previous image\next image in a very quick succession with my mouse wheel ...

Zoom options race condition when scrolling through images of different types

Xnview MP 0.96.2, Windows 10 64.

When scrolling through images of multiple types (example: .jpg, .bmp) on a slow machine/extremely quickly, the zoom options are sometimes inherited from a previous image.

My Xnview setting for handling images is 'Fit Image To Window, Large only'.

Best explained ...
