I got a new version and it worked. Really a shame that they put an old buggy version in the software manager. XNView the best image viewer on Linux.
Thank you for your help.

Re: XNView MP on Linux Mint can't find harddrive
I just used the official Linux version from the software manager. It's not an USB hard drive, it's a SATA hard drive.

Re: XNView MP on Linux Mint can't find harddrive
It's version XnView MP Linux
Version 0.93.1 64bits (Feb 28 2019)
Libformat version 7.25
But it's not an external USB harddrive, it's an internal.

XNView MP on Linux Mint can't find hard drive [Solved]
Hi,
I'm using XNView MP on Linux Mint 20 and I have a SSD for Linux and a harddrive for the data. XNView MP can't find that harddrive. It is in the folder mnt in the manager but XNView MP says this folder doesn't exist. I don't understand it.

Re: Batch rename RAW + XMP using EXIF
Yes I have. I think it is because I want to use exif-data for renaming. Since there is no exif-data in the xmp file, XnView can't rename it and just taking the data from the RAW files seems not included. It would rename both RAW and XMP with standard names.

Batch rename RAW + XMP using EXIF
Hello,
I want to batch rename a series of RAW files using the date and time from the EXIF data. This works well. Unfortunately XN View does not rename the XMP files accordingly. So all the work in the RAW converter would be lost. What am I doing wrong? Or is that not possible?
