Catalogue miniature displayed are different from image

This happens on one directory only.
Most of the miniatures shown something randomly different from the real mage.
Copying to a new directory all went ok.
Moving a new image on the previous directory again the miniature was wrong.
Any idea?

Solved. The problem is the different interpretation of removable peripheral on "catalogo->esclusioni/inclusioni" by ubuntu vs Windows.
Simply unchecking "lways exclude removable" and it worked.

I'm a new user of XNVIEW MP both on Ubuntu and on Windows 10:
On Ubuntu there is no problem in categorizing images on USB pen drive but I cannot do the same on windows:
after selecting an image all categories remain shadowed.
What I'm doing wrong? Any suggestions?
