Hi Daniel,

yes, most or many printers don't accept no margins. The problem is that when margins are set to 0 XnView does not set it to the minimal possible value. Instead of that I have to make these funny actions I described.

Your suggestion to remove the margin selector and using the page setup ...

This corresponding bug is still unfixed for more than 2 1/2 years: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=41939&p=170042

Hi there,

when I open the printing dialog there are always margins, allthough no margins are set by default:

Now when I set the left margin to 2 the upper margin nearly disappears:

Changing the value for left margin back to 0 does also not remove the left margin ...

And the Tab Order in this setting is a little bit confused: from left to right to top and bottom is missing.

I checked 0.97.0, 096.5 and 0.96.4 now and the margin setting does not work - that's strange. I was absolutely sure, that it did with MP.
The setting works in XnView.

I switched to MP in summer and it worked with any published version, for example 0.97.1.

Edit: Seems it didn't already work with 0.97.1 and I don't have older versions for testing but I'm sure that it worked in a 0.97.x version!

Hi there,

I often have to make copies of receipts. With XnView I scanned the receipt, choosed "Single - DPI" in the print dialog and printed a copy in the same size than the original:


with XnView.jpg


When I try the same with MP, the preview is much too big and does not even fit the page ...

Worked in older versions.
