Re: Opening a slide show file

helmut wrote:If you want to associate slide show files with XnView, you have to set the following option:

Menu "Tools->Options", category "Install", checkbox "Associate Slide File with XnView"
Is there any reason why this isn't done by default?

You are right. I was hoping that the font size could be indepandantly controlled in XnView so I could set it to a size that would be rediculous for the windows shell (eg 20point).

I have produced a 1/10sec sample (~350KB).

You can download it from:

I have to say that your player decodes these files very quickly (much faster than others do), the main problem is the aspect ratio. If this can be resolved then I would have a ...

The only strange thing that I see is that pressing enter on a picture effectively makes it dissapear. I would have thought that doing nothing would be better than sending it to the background.

In preferrence, I would like to see it maximised rather than dissapear (if that is a possibility)?

thanks ...

Pressing enter while viewing a picture

While viewing a picture (or video), if I press Enter, then the browser comes to the foregreound, but leaves the picture open in the background. Im not sure what I expected to happen when I pressed Enter, but it definetally wasn't that.

A :bug: surely!?

Large Font Size for Home Theatre PC

The system that I am intending on using XnView on is a Home Theatre PC (HTPC). Consequently it is only attached to a TV and hence font sizes have to be pretty big to make them easily legible (and yes, I am aware of DPI and "Extra Large" fonts under XP).

Could it be possible to add the functionality ...

I'd also like to add myself to the list of poeple wanting this feature. In addition, could there be an option to recurse subfolders aswell?

Also, I noticed that the sld files cannot be associated with xnview. When I try to launch xnview with my sld file as the parameter I get the error: "format of ...

mpg playback - aspect ratio & Full screen

Hi, I'm new here :)

Playback of movie files seems to work well with most file types except for Digital TV Broadcast captures.

The resolution of these mpg files does not match the aspect ratio that they are supposed to be played with. ie the people are squished from the sides and look tall and ...
