Your comment of the .ini file pointed to the solution.
After researching my .ini file, I discovered a hidden .xnviewmp folder from 2022 on a connected external disk.
Removed the file, rebooted the computer. Problem solved.
Thanks again.

Request a change to heavy blue filename boxes for all selected images
In Browser, Selecting multiple images now highlights only the filename of one file in heavy blue.
Selecting multiple changes the pastel color of the light yellow filename box to a similar pastel. I have not found a setting to change the color of the selected box to more noticable.

Re: There Must Be A Keystroke - Expand and Shrink the Browser Tree
Thank you very much! I am on a Macbook Pro, so don't have a numpad either. It is difficult to write a one-size-fits-everyone application across platforms. No complaints!

Re: There Must Be A Keystroke - Expand and Shrink the Browser Tree
Thanks, but apparently, that is not the issue.
I already have 'View Source Panels' checked. The directory icons appear as thumbnails & icons, folder icon only.

There Must Be A Keystroke - Expand and Shrink the Browser Tree
When in Browser, seeing a folder with many subdirectories, is there a keystroke or command to use to expand the tree or shrink the tree?
Currently, I must mouse up the tree, clicking every arrow point to expand the folders.

MacOs: Drag-n-drop file folder from Finder to XnView MP Icon on Toolbar
Would like to enable drag-n-drop a folder icon from MAC OS Finder to the XnView icon on the tool bar.
Currently can drag-n-drop a single image to the icon in the toolbar, image opens.
Would like to see ability to drag a folder the same way, if doing so would display folder contents in XnView MP.

Refresh without Exiting?
Hope you can help.
On Mac OS, 11.2 Big Sur. Macbook Pro keyboard.
When new directories are created in another application, and files are added, the new directory does not appear in the list until XnView is exited and restarted.
Is there a way to refresh without exiting? Thanks!
