If you open it in xnview, the background is transparent, but if you try to export to webp, it's no longer transparent.

Webp export transparency

Am I missing some option? Because when I try to export a PNG to WebP, it loses its transparency.

Re: Animated gif in Catalog

xnview wrote: Wed Jul 07, 2021 9:45 am what do you means by "animate in the catalog view"?
I mean seeing the gifs actually animate in this thumbnail view so that you know what the gifs are exactly without having to open them one by one..

Animated gif in Catalog

Is it possible to have animated gifs actually animate in the catalog view?

Re: JPEG-XL

yes with 'save as'

Using "save as" JXL, there are no options available, so I have no idea what settings ...

JPEG-XL

Is it possible to export (convert) images to JPEG-XL already?
in the regular export window, all I see is Jpeg-XR which is of course different.

Any word on this? I just installed the latest XnViewMP and couldn't choose JPEG-XL to export to
Firefox already has support for it, so I'd like to use XnViewMP to convert my images to it for my website
