I found that {Directory} works for videos, but only if I follow it with {Filename with Ext}. Looks like there is a bug. With just {Directory} nothing shows in the label.

I have some MP4 files. I set a custom label in Settings > Thumbnail > Labels to "{Folder} {Size KB}".
