In a directory containing files with non-ASCII filenames, if these have descriptions, they appear properly in the explorer (so the encoding it's been correctly autodetected), but after new descriptions are added, there is mojibake (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mojibake) in the accented filenames ...

Invoking XnView with a path (relative or absolute) opens the browser view in the indicated directory.

However, if "single instance" is set and xnview is called again with a different path, the existing instance is brought to front, but the directory passed is ignored.
