I confirm, the new version 1.8.1 works well . When I use the "Import and Sort" function files are sorted an renamed correctly.
I have to use "Output folder" option in the "# enumerator per folder" section.

For the moment I can't obtain the expected result . Enumerators of files are still in the wrong order.
The root cause is perhaps because I can't find the option "reset enumerator on new folder" mentioned in the previous post.
Please, where is this option?

Files are renamed beforehand using a date and time sort. Please have a look to the attached a file below.
The problem is still there.
When the rename/copy process works, it seems that the files are processed randomly. I say this because the window showing the process shows this.

Could the sort order set in View > Sort by , particularly some of the options low-down in the long list, be relevant?

I did some tests with version 1.8.0.
Now, during the “Import & Sort” action, the files are renamed starting with 1 in each folder. This is what I wanted :D .
I have to choose the “# enumarate per Out Put Folder” option to do this.

So there's still a problem. The file renamed xxxxx1.jpg is ...

Is there a solution to do what I would like?

Sub folders are created. Files are copied an renamed in the good folder.
The problem is the numbering. It Starts at 01 only in the first folder. In each other folder the numbering continues where it stoppes in the previous folder.

Folder 1 : xxxx_01 => xxxx_05
Folder 2 : yyyy_06 => yyyy_14
Folder ...

I put in attachment a zip file of a folder with several pictures taken on different days.
I compress the pictures to save space but the Exifs are still OK.
I make a test : the numbering is still not like I think it's supposed to be.
Can you have a look?
