Some notes behind:
Today I created folders in Explorer and then clicked to XNview. That works without the folder permission problems and it can see it there in the moment, when I go back to XNview. A workaround which is ok, until the problems are fixed.

There is another issue, which is created by XNview since several months.
Left side is the local hard disk. Right side the network drive for the backups. Often you will see not the folder names, but instead the short DOS names. This is happening, when the folders are created in XNview (in this case ...

Have we got now a video? I have no software for doing this.

Here again: right side: created a new folder, left side: it shows new folder but not the name. Now I need again to print F5.

It is Win10 Pro, 21H2 and Xn Version 1.0 (attached).

Another example: I have moved per drag&drop the 2 folders from right side to the left at "Mini".
Result is: right it is away, left side it is still there and will only go away with pressing F5.

In XnView, I am not not talking from things in Windows Explorer, I work directly in XnView.
Here an example. I created in XnView the Folder on the right side "Cooper S...." and on the left side it only shows "Neuer Ordner" for new folder. It overtakes on the left side after F5 or opening a different ...

Example: you see a folder structure. Then you delete one or rename it. It still shows the folder or the wrong name.
If you create a new subfolder, it is not there immediately, only after F5.

Maybe it's clearer now?

I have a lot to do with press photos, so when I create folders in Xnview and copy images into them, it should update itself directly, just like CLassic. You first have to click into other folders or press F5 and that would be more practical without it.

Very often when I work with the programme, I have to refresh with F5. This was better with XNView Classic, but MP processes the whole thing faster and has faster image previews. Therefore I would stay with it as I have done for years.
