Hi ! I've just tested with XnView MP 1.5.3 and it works fine.
All my KO testcase that were corrected in 1.5.1 are still OK in 1.5.3.
It seem to me that there is no problem left.

DCT Method : slow
smoothing factor : 0
Subscampling factor : 2x2, 1x1, 1x1 (default)
Rebuild embedded exif thumbnail : true
Keep exif : true
Keep IPTC : true
Keep XMP : true
Keep ICC profile : true

I've clean my config files and tried different testcases with XnView MP 1.5.0 beta and I do not reproduce anymore.
Problem if fixed (thanks to cleaning files ou to 1.5 beta, I don't know)

I've tried different testcases with XnView MP 1.5.0 beta that were KO in previous versions.

I didn't because, to be more precise, when I say XnViewMP crashes, in fact it just closes without having possibility to send anything.
If sendind a crash dump means having a window that opens on crash to send it, no I didn't.

Back on my laptop, the issue with filtering on pictures only excludes videos as expected. This machine is running Windows 11 . That's the main difference I see.
It's curious because I my case I run XnViewMP 1.4.5 on my Laptop with Windows 11 and it still shows videos when navigating in a ...
