Ok.
It looks like a detection problem with .dds
-in dds option make no difference, -out tiff resolved in the same wrecked image.
What's going on?

On my machine : Win10 Home 21H2, DirectX 12

The correct ICON.DDS is shown in the Windows Explorer via NvidiaThumbnailDriver. And in Paint.net 4.3.12.
The destroyed ICON.PNG is shown in the Windows ...

Converting without any changes from .dds to .png with XnConvert absolutly perfect.
Converting with NConvert using »nconvert -out png ICON.DDS« results in
