Is the Face Recognition plugin supposed to work on MacOS?
I created an "Addons" folder in the XnView package (/contents/Addons) and unzipped the content of the zip (FaceTag folder) in it, but "Tag Faces" is still gray in the menu.
Since there is another plugin folder in the package I also tried ...
