Although this situation creates an illusion that not only creates confusion, ambiguity and is misleading, there is also, of greater importance, the risk that we could delete the media files!
I therefore think it should be resolved with high priority!

Following shortcuts is standard file manager behavior, and it's rather odd to expect otherwise
Yes, it is normal behavior in file management!... but it isn't, necessarily, a standard behavior in media file management programs!
