Still waiting to complete the package for the next rollout within our company.

acknowledet. I had a new xnview.exe and an old paint filter.
with the new paint filter xnview crashes as mentioned above.

Can't reproduce the error (Drwa line, then move) under Windows 2003 Server,
P shortcut works fine here, when Paint-Tool was opend/closed once via menu.

Could it be possible to implement a better snapshot functionality.

I thought about a "rectangle" or "freehand" snapshot.
Or there could be a list-snapshot to e.g. grab large explorer lists.

I found a tool able to do that all at faststone.org
But I'd like to have that functions within XnView.

No, the HKLM key doesn't work for all users. (On Terminal Server)

Policy is a good idea, but I hope to get it in registry so I can keep configuration in one software distribution package

hmmm seems that
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\XnView\Hidden] isn't right.

Is there a list of Regkey's that can be used in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE to make the setting machine wide?

or you can use

ShowSmallToolbar=0
in XnView INI File
or in
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\XnView\Hidden]
