In XNView classic there was a possibility to add a folder (not only the images contained in a folder) to the slideshow, and an option to watch the contents of the folder.
Is there a possibility to expect similar functionality in XNViewMP in the future?

I just noticed that JXL files are supported and work correctly in XNViewMP 1.7.2 under Windows 11.
The same version (XNViewMP 1.7.2; Flatpak installation) does not open JXL files under Linux Mint 21.3. There is no entry in 'Settings-Formats'. Does this mean that JXL file format is not ...
