Re: How to compare folders?
Have you disabled "Options - Category: General - Tab: Operations - First command: Only one instance"
Thanks! Good idea, I forgot about it. I was trying to open two browsers inside the main window.
...I have to use Total Commander ...
Good idea.
Unfortunately TC builds thumbnails very slowly ...

How to compare folders?
Hello!
Is there a way to compare folders using XnView? So far I didn't manage to open two instances of the Browser, thus I have to use Total Commander or just Windows folders side by side.
Thanks.

Option for batch processing window
I suggest to add the option "Open output directory after processing completed" with two 'sub-options': open it in XnView or as a window. Example of usage: I convert images for sending them by email (local client), and this option would greatly improve the usability: no need for browsing in order to ...

No problem, when the page is generated, click on the output "thumbs.html" press F2 and type "index" then upload to web site.

Unfortunately this is a solution only when there are no separate html file per picture is created; otherwise you cannot just change the name of the index file because ...

Re: Tagging in browser vs. tagging in image view
Thanks, but what is "browser's fullscreen preview"? There's either fullscreen view of an image or small preview window in the browser.marsh wrote: The browser's fullscreen preview. Highlight a file + F11 key. Tagging an image there will be remembered.

Tagging in browser vs. tagging in image view
"Officially" tagging is enabled in browser view only (as Help says). Nevertheless, in image view Insert button also works and such files appeared to have marks in tag boxes (in browser view). However, these marks are "phantoms": in status bar only the files tagged in browser view counted and these ...

How to open files with cyrillic names?
Does anybody know how to make XnView understand non-latin file names? I have English WinXP. Usually I don't have any problems with cyrillic file names, but XnView (multi-language version) does not display them (???? is shown instead) and fails to open such files.

Dear Pierre, I was just going to suggest similar thing, but not for rotation, but for lossless crop. But my suggestion is not for a preview window.
When I am going to crop an image, I first try it with a normal crop (not lossless) and then I undo it and go to lossless crop. However, the selection ...
