XnView: 1.6.1 64 bit OS: Arch Linux 64bit (Manjaro, Plasma) XnViewMP crashes when I open a specific category Effect: Program crashes Actual behaviour (bug): I can't describe it exactly because it's very random, but XnViewMP 1.6.1 crashes on me in some categories or folders. I've already tried to use...

Re: 0.82: Meta info get deleted if a file gets replaced
Hmmm I tried to reproduce this with a clean install, but then it works fine. Probably it has to do with my database? (I use XnViewMP since the very early begin). With my productive XnViewMP version this is reproducable, but not with a clean one. Tried around the last hour with some settings and set ...

0.82: Meta info get deleted if a file gets replaced
Hello, today I had to sort some duplicated files out and used in XnView MP in two several instances. But then I've hit the following issue: 1. Folder A has file A 2. Folder B has another file A (same filename as in folder A) 3. Delete file A out of folder A. 4. Move file A out of folder B to folder ...

Categories Searchbox auto-reset after assignment
Hi After pressing Enter in the Categories-Searchbox of the Catories-Assignment-Panel, the input text could be removed/resetted, so I can type in the next category instantly instead of have to press Shift+Home and Del first. The case I want to extend strings after assigning them to categories is less...

Re: Using categories
At the Categories Filter you have a dropdown at the top named "Match", where you can select "any" or "both". If you select "any" you'll get shown "Oxford" and "Bristol" images when you select both categories. Use the control key on "UK" to select it and all sub categories, or use it on "Oxford" and ...

Re: Cant update database in 0.66
I have the same problem but with XnViewMP 0.67 x64 on Win7 x64.. I try to update from 0.64 to 0.67 and get the same message as above. "XnviewMP - There is a problem to update database, please contact the developer" (PS: My DB is too private to share but I would contribute any other way to fix this)...

Re: Using two different databases
Did you copied XnView to a place where it has the right to write the ini to? For " C:\Program Files\... " it would need admin rights I think. So you should do something like this: - Excract XnViewMP to a place with user rights like " C:\test\XnViewMP_01 " or the desktop etc. - Start the xnview.exe f...

Re: Provide a version of XnViewMP with no thumbnail support
I don't know if you're a troll... but: 1. There are many images to display. That's slow and it usually leads to memory leaks. 10.000 thumbnails need 5 seconds for me to get loaded to RAM - from HDD btw, not SSD. This is slow? I think it's fast. I don't discover memory leaks. 2. The thumbnails are a ...

Missing message if a file can't get renamed
Hi If you rename a file, but the target name (/file) already exists in the same dir, XnView just cancels the renaming but don't gives the user information about. Example: A.jpg and B.jpg in the same directory Rename A.jpg to B.jpg - nothing happens. I think a filename-conflict dialog could be nice, ...
