This issue still exists. F12 shortcut does not work in browser, only in viewer and you cannot map it to anything else.

Re: AVIF decoding slowdown (again)
This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.9.3 . Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
I think I am noticing considerable speed up with AVIF, especially when pic is fully zoomed out and browsing through them.
AVIF and HEIC rendering appeared to behave pretty similarly (avif was a ...

Re: JPEG XL Orientation
In the few tests I did the reliability of JPEG XL metadata has improved and now both exif and map tabs show data.
Anyhow EXIF orientation flag is still ignored. It could be cool to have option in settings where user could enable this (at least until there are tools to modify orientation in the way ...

Re: Settings - interface - mouse - add Horizontal scroll
eg assigned Horizontal scroll, buy actual effect - Vertical scroll
I can confirm this. Tested in viewer:
bug set1: ALT
alt-horscroll: vertical scrolling
alt-vertscroll: horizontal scrolling
alt-zoom in/out: zooms only out in both ways
bug set2: inconsistent scroll speed
- when doing one click ...

Re: Add tab AVIF to Export window
I am happy that JPEG XL is there (I consider it in general the better format), but AVIF should be there as well. Why?

Re: Size estimate for save dialogue
Hmm... I had almost forgotten that it exists. You are right it seems to have this feature. I will study it.
BUT AVIF is missing from export dialogue. Is this intended behaviour or bug, Pierre? All others are there that are chosen in Settings - Formats.

Size estimate for save dialogue
Hi. I am not sure if I put this already somewhere else but didn't find it.
Some programs (Affinity, Photoshop?, Image Toolbox, etc..) tell in save dialouge/settings the estimated size of file to be saved. It would be very handy feature for xnmp as you wouldn't have to save multiple files and then ...
