1.8.4 Contact Sheet image quality settings not stored
The "create contact sheet" feature is very handy. However there's something that doesn't look right.
The quality settings page will always restore to default, that is 80% quality, etc. I have to change it back to 100% every time.- Tue Feb 04, 2025 11:15 am

Re: Batch append keywords to XMP/IPTC
I updated to 1.8.4 and tested, still the problem exists. I've done a recording, hope this helps to better look at the issue.

AVIF files and strange metadate editability
Hello.
In the image browser if I select one or more avif image(s) and go to menu, the "Edit IPTC" or "Edit XMP" options are greyed out:

Re: Batch append keywords to XMP/IPTC
I saw them, but they didn't work. Even if I checked them, the metadata is overwritten instead of appended.
"Edit IPTC" works.

Batch append keywords to XMP/IPTC
I've been experiencing with the batch processing of images using XnView MP. For the moment I can select a bunch of images and go to Edit IPTC/XMP and input a keyword like "key1" into the textbox under "keyword" and click "write to all files" and all the images will have "key1" in their metadata ...
