*SOLVED*

I right-clicked on my recycle bin on my desktop, then went to properties, and checked the "display delete confirmation".

I didn't know you had to have that RECYCLE BIN option set for confirmation.

I installed the latest version of XnView Classic 2.52 (xnview-win-small.exe) and there's no confirmation upon file deletion either, just like the previous version.

I have the option checked under "Options>General>File Operations>Confirm File Delete".... that box is checked.

Still no confirmation ...
