Big +1 for this. Drag and drop is fine for a couple of files, but when you're managing a large library, it's easy to 'miss' the target folder or just lose track of where you're dragging. Having a simple right-click 'Add to Album > [Album Name]' would make the workflow so much faster.

Good catch! FWIW users on the XnView forums got help from the official dev asking for a sample file so they can see exactly why the thumbnails/preview aren’t showing, and one suggestion was to check Settings → General → show all graphic formats first.
