While renaming multiple pictures, TABbing between them, works as expected.

While renaming multiple videos, TABbing between them, after each rename, kills the preview (preview window goes blank). The same is true TABbing pic to video or video to pic.

Yes, however this issue has since been fixed. Haven't seen it in months. Can likely mark this resolved.

When renaming a file, one presses SHIFT-TAB to goto the previous file. Normally this would advance to the file to the left, and eventually wrap around to the previous line so that all filenames could be accessed in reversed order. Currently it advances to the file above, i.e. in the previous row ...

This issue is fixed, however SHIFT-TAB does the same bug, going to the previous row rather than the previous file.


(A related issue as well (I will make a new post): when the next file is selected (still renaming), the preview window goes blank. I don't remember if it was updating previously.)

Can I possibly email/DM the sample file? I only have pictures of my kids as examples and don't feel comfortable posting them online. Or I can wait till I come across a non-kid pic. I have a few thousand photos to sift through.

While video is auto-playing, renaming must be done quickly, as the filename will revert during play. This only occurs for video files; it does not seem to occur during auto-play for audio files. It does not occur for files that do not auto-play.

JPG and other image files having a rotation in their metadata are shown correctly in the thumbnail (and preview panel). HEIC image files are shown without their rotation taken into account (though they appear correctly in the preview panel).
