New files are not shown in folder, especially big ones, even after manual refresh with F5

The viewer doesn't render Photoshop psd files without maximized compatibility option, only renders thumbnails.
Currently I'm on Photoshop 25.12.0

To reproduce:
1. Create a file in Photoshop with 2 layers
2. Save as psd
3. During saving uncheck Maximize ...

I just came to report the same bug.
XnViewMP 1.9.2 x64, Windows 10 x64
Whenever I open the application, the Catalog Filter panel is empty. To refresh it I need to close and open it again.
The bug doesn't reproduce on clean installation.

2. cat|dog - ok
3. cat+jpg - ok
4. cat|jpg, jpg|cat - worked in 1.9.1, broke in 1.9.2, now finds only the second part of the query (either all jpgs, or all cats).

When using search dialog from Quick Filter, the search results shows and counts companion files.
The reproduction here is on 2 files only, but I've got hundreds of RAWs with XMPs, and search results are cluttered with incorrect data.

What is the best and easiest way to find images without category?
I've got a lot of photos from single session and usually sort them in multiple passes. Often I need to see what remained unsorted (without category).
The only way I know is tedious and involves multiple clicks:

Yes, with drag-n-drop the behaviour is the same

It surely is not.
But I find it extremely useful to search by multiple properties at the same time, since 'кот|jpg' works with category and format/name.
Eg I usually search for images with specific subject (category) which I have already edited (format jpg, not raw).
