you can force the installation
It is true, by this way that's work. xnview can works.
root@mx25:/home/tof-mx# dpkg -i --force-overwrite /folder1/XnViewMP-linux-x64_V1.9.3.deb

Edit, it is not a real solution, I have to do in this case , because the system after is unstable ...

I have a bug with XnViewMP. because the libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 library changed it's name but its still available, its libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0 now. they XnView will need to change their debian control file.

Même si c'est tard, ça servira pour d'autres.
Mieux vaut toujours éviter les accents et caractères spéciaux dans les noms de fichier et de dossier.
Le mieux c'est de les renommer à mon avis.

For information, If your are into Linux you can recursively convert first the .svg to .png with a bash script (with inkscape installed) ... then open them into XnView.

mkdir "$PWD"/png
for file in $PWD/*.svg

filename=$(basename "$file")
inkscape "$file ...

Oui, c'est un problème assez ancien, qui plus et est dangereux (risque de suppression de photos par mégarde). Il faudrait trouver une solution afin que cette situation ne puisse pas arriver (entre l'image et la vignette dans le cache .db).

- As far as i can see XnView aims to always fully read the entire directory before actually letting the user do anything. This leads to the half minute long loading times of any directory.
This is a pretty stupid idea when working with larger number of files. acdsee resolved it by never loading ...
