Re: Toolbar Button Parameters
Pierre, Is this fixed yet, perhaps? I am dreaming of being able to specify parameters to custom toolbar buttons. Basically, I have some autohotkey scripts I want to run on the files by selecting them and pushing the toolbar button. But I need to supply the filename or filename's directory path as pa...

Re: Convert pdf
Marek,
Well, it's working now; I don't know why. Running version 0.95 from Jan 15, 2020.

Re: Does not appear in context menu
Marek, No, no problem before I upgraded to Win10, at least. I don't use the Explorer context menu very often for conversion - mostly I do it through XnViewMP itself. I can't say if it ever showed in the Win10 context menu. I CAN attest that XnConvert has an entry in the registry at HKCR\Directory\sh...

Does not appear in context menu
I've installed XnConvert 1.83 x64 and checked the setting to add it to the Windows context menu, but it does not appear. Am I doing something wrong?

Convert pdf
For some reason, when I right-click on a pdf and look for Convert Into... on the context menu, it is grayed out. It didn't used to be - is there some setting or something I am missing?

Re: xnview mp 0.84 is fast, 0.85 is slow
Not for me, actually, I have 1033 fonts installed - maybe that doesn't qualify as a lot.
I have at times noticed lagginess but most of the time MP is blazing fast. Now I'm only saying this (as it isn't my thread) because I think it's probably a windows issue somehow.

Re: xnview mp 0.84 is fast, 0.85 is slow
I'm running 0.94 and don't have any lag at all loading images. They all open instantly, even 5mb jpegs. (running Windows 7) I've always loved how fast MP is. I even use MP instead of Adobe Bridge. MP is soooo fast. Now, I admit, it will take a tad bit longer if you load a directory full of images fo...

Re: Printing multiple images
Create Contact Sheet creates new images based on the ones you select.
Yes, I am able to create them and print those.
Still, it doesn't solve the problems with printing collections of images via the print dialogue. I hate to have to create new images just to print them.

Printing multiple images
Sometimes I want to print pages of images to take to my art table to use as drawing references. Now, MP doesn't give you an option to arrange multiple images for printing - the best you get is to use "Thumbnails". So, that's what I'm doing. However, I need to print two images to a page in landscape ...

Pierre,
Well, I did say the images were all jpgs; are you referring to something else?

Thumbnails don't update after editing
When I make changes to images - such as using that auto-adjust procedure (I use the toolbar button), and then I save them - the thumbnails don't update all the time. Sometimes they do not update when I crop an image and save it. Pushing the refresh button does not update the thumbnails either. Even ...

Re: Adjust Contrast of Multi-page PDF
XnConvert does a decent job adjusting the contrast in the pdf when I set it to Automatic Levels, and it will work on the entire multi-page pdf quite well, but any bookmark structure is erased.
I guess it doesn't know how to preserve the bookmarks structure; maybe that doesn't count as metadata.

Adjust Contrast of Multi-page PDF
XnViewMP can work with pdf files to an extent. I have a collection of multi-page pdf files with lots of page thumbnails and bookmarks in them, but when they were scanned, they were scanned so that black isn't black - just sort of darkish gray, so it looks washed out. Can I use XnView to adjust the c...
