Re: Scaling Problems (Aliasing, Poor Quality, Not 1:1)

1. Bilinear looks much better (high quality, in/out), just a bit soft, but no aliasing. (I tried many combos, maybe I missed that one, apologies!) Will use that for now. All the others are downscaling poorly for some reason? (I usually use Lanczos with most apps, XnView batch convert.) :bugconfirme...

Re: Scaling problem on Win10 for XNVMP - Version 0.97.0 64bits (Sep 23 2020)

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.98.2 . Please check and confirm the bug fix here. XnView MP 0.98.2 is still more blurry than XnView Classic 2.49.5 . It seems that small images rendered similar, but big images are still blurry. Original: https://sat02pap001files.storage.live.com/...

Re: Scaling Problems (Aliasing, Poor Quality, Not 1:1)

I can't reproduce on HiDPI screen with scaling of 125%, do you have same problem with 'High zoom quality' => 'Zoom in&Zoom out' + bilinear?
The problem is only viewing at 99%?
And if you use 100% for font scaling?
Do you have same problem with 0.98.1?

Re: Multiple HEIC bugs

Do you use the HEIC Plugin from Microsoft App Store or the XnView's plugin? I have the same problem. I tested with 0.94.3 using MS HEIC plugin, and 0.98.2 using XnView's plugin. Both have problems of 0 byte and strange black lines. But only 0.98.2 has color errors. And when I using MS Photo app, no...

Re: Category File property update when moving file to another folder

Just a slight update: I've run this: View -> Update catalogue from files. It seems like all the categories are holding together. Even after a restart. Can someone explain me what the app didn't do that before for me(the update of files)? I had to find it and click it myself. So the categories are g...

Re: Can I filter by date?

Currently no easy way (need to be added)
A workaround is to use 'Search'
blizeH wrote: Sun Apr 11, 2021 7:21 pm I've tried clicking Tools -> Search and entering the details there (ie. EXIF: Taken date is between 01/01/2018 and 31/12/2018) and it returns 0 photos :(
Your photos have 'EXIF: Date Taken'?
