The .deb package cannot be installed on a Lubuntu 20 ( I guess it's the same in Ubuntu 20 ).
The error message:
Die Installation aus einer nicht signierten Paketquelle ist nicht möglich
(in English: Installation from an unsignet package source is not possible )

I don't know if this was discussed before but I would be nice to have some basic image processing tools readily available.
This would support reviewing of images quite a bit.

I do not know how I can tell these versions apart. The version that I have is one that I've downloaded from xnview.com some time ago and I have the MB since 26th of oct. Therefore I'm not so familiar with the tools and features of MacOS. If I remember correctly the version is something like 1.70 ...

Well I got it to run now. It's stable and speed is amazing. Best of what I've ever seen on my MAC so far. Worked through several hundred of pics with NO crash.
