Hi Pierre.

Any chance this will be fixed in a future release? As we discovered when you sent me a test version, the folder expansion is slow because XnView analyzes each and every subfolder for the presence of sub-subfolders to determine whether it should display the "+" sign beside the subfolder ...

Hi again. This is just to let you know I still have exactly the same problem as I described here a year ago, and it's the same like everyone in this thread is describing. I've been upgrading to every new version and the problem is always exactly the same. I hope it can be fixed someday. Until then ...

Hi. I have a similar problem. When I expand a folder, the subfolders only get displayed at a rate of about 10 subfolders per second. Hi Pierre. Yes, I just checked now again to be sure. It crashed on MOV, MPG, WMV and AVI.

I am on win XP sp2. Yes, the crash happens only in fullscreen mode when I navigate through pictures and then encounter a video. But the important thing is that it only crashes if I arrived at Fullscreen directly from the Browser, not the Viewer.

In other words...
- Start in Browser mode --> Go to ...
